About The School
The Shalom School is proud of its tradition of creating an environment that is both enjoyable for the children and instructive in the ways of our Jewish heritage. The Shalom School staff and the School Committee are dedicated to providing the finest Jewish education to our students and congregation.
Our curriculum is coordinated throughout each grade and we regularly consult with the Bureau of Jewish Education (BJE). There are opportunities for children to participate in special Temple events, the Tu B'Shevat and Passover Seders, Family Shabbat services, and other holiday celebrations. Check out our Upcoming Services and Events section for more information on these and other Shalom School events.
These programs are intended to enhance our children's knowledge of and involvement in Judaism and the Jewish community. We aim to make classes both enjoyable and substantial, utilizing a wide variety of learning methods and experiences. Programs are designed for the age groups specified, however, any child who would benefit and be able to participate in a different level will be welcomed. For more information, contact a School Committee member.
We encourage you to investigate the Shalom School for your child. We are ready to answer your questions and help in any way we can. Please feel free to e-mail or contact us with your questions.
